Profit Plan incorporates a powerful loan module within its "Loans" window.
An individual schedule can be built for any investment loan the firm makes (such as to shareholders or for short-term investment purposes), as well as any loans it now has or might take (conventional, equal principal, line of credit, or hybrid based upon any of these.) For each loan, this module provides four views to allow creation
and detailed tracking of sophisticated loan scenarios. The views are:
 | Base Loan Input - Define the source, nature, and general
parameters of each loan scenario here. Basic loan types include. |
 | Standard amortizing loans |
 | Interest Only loans |
 | Fixed Principle loans |
 | Lines of Credit |
 | Initial Schedule - This view displays the results of the
base input calculation as a monthly schedule of draws, payments, interest and resulting
balances. This view can be edited directly to handle issues such as varying ARM rates,
deferred payment schedules, etc.
|
 | Actual Schedule -This schedule reproduces the Initial
Schedule, but can be maintained directly to reflect actual results, including missed
payments, early payments, and the effects of early and late payments.
|
 | Schedule Variance - This schedule compares the Initial
Schedule to the Actual Schedule. You can see the impact of new historical results on
the initial schedules! |
