When you download our Profit Plan Full Evaluation Edition, you will receive a self-extracting file containing a complete software copy of Profit Plan v2007. Only the physical CD-ROM and our 320+ page printed User's Guide is excluded from this edition. The download file includes the application, its built-in Tutorial, five sample financial models, and complete documentation in the Help file. Because this is a full software release, the download file is quite large (32.9 MB) and requires a lengthy download without access to cable or a T1 connection. Even then, the download may require up to 15 minutes or more. So, for those of you with slower connections, we do suggest that you download our much abbreviated Profit Plan Evaluation “(Demo)” Edition instead. This has roughly one-half the file size, as it includes only a single sample model and a much abbreviated Help file. But even this abbreviated download includes more than enough to help you quickly discover why Profit Plan is such a truly powerful business financial planning and management software for the CEO, CFO, and their collaborative consultants! Password ActivatedThe Profit Plan Full Evaluation Edition is password activated. But, because this is the complete software product, the password will restrict usage to seven days from the date of issue, but can be renewed, should you be called away and unable to complete the initial review in the time provided. Before downloading proceeds, we recommend you review the Evaluation License Agreement regarding this password. We also suggest you fill in and submit the Full Evaluation Password Request Form while you are downloading. This will facilitate generating the two passwords you will need. You will use the first password to unlock the installation package itself, which has been securely awaiting you here on the internet. The second password activates your operating copy, once installed. We will return your passwords by e-mail or fax within one business day. While we can also issue the passwords by phone call during business hours, it is usually more successful by email or fax. This helps insure that everything is spelled and entered appropriately. Begin by downloading or running the self-extracting full evaluation edition contained in the setup.exe file.. |

While waiting for the file transfer, request the Profit Plan Evaluation Passwords, if you have not yet done so. |

|
|
Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded setup.exe file via the Windows Explorer to begin the installation. (If Run from the Web, the install program will begin automatically after the file is downloaded, but be patient while the file transfers. The first password of the two passwords sent to you will be needed to decrypt and extract the application from the Setup file.) |

Follow the install program's on-screen instructions to complete the installation. |

Launch Profit Plan and enter the activation information and password. |
|||
|
|
Then you are ready for the Getting Started tour available on the main Help menu. Enjoy! |
